I have personally driven this Corvette about 20 miles recently.
During that time that car was completely reliable, has no issues, and was a true pleasure to drive.
Besides the correct paint code, this Corvette is Numbers Matching meaning the engine and transmission in the car are the correct and original units that were installed in the car new at the factory in 1980.
Virtually every part we checked on the car is correct with the proper part numbers and appropriate date codes.
We have run the numbers on literally hundreds of Corvettes over the years and there are very few that are so correct and original.
Even very detailed parts like the distributor, carburetor, alternator, and starter are all date coded and original.
The last six digits of the VIN, 433228, are stamped on the engine pad and pictured in this ad and the engine is original to the car.
The transmission is also original with the last six digits of the VIN stamped on the main case and pictured.

As one can see in the photos the finish has a terrific gloss, deep shine, and smooth finish.
The N90 aluminum wheels and center caps are in beautiful condition with a brilliant finish and no curb rash.
The raised white letter tires have plenty of tread left and are correctly sized 255/60R15.
There are no major blemishes that have been intentionally excluded from the photos.
As one can see in the many photos of the underside of the car, it is very clean underneath and this Corvette has absolutely NO RUST ISSUES.
The underside looks exceptionally nice and still has some of the factory original chalk markings front when it went down the assembly line.
The frame is totally solid with no rust around the key hole area in front of the rear tire and we have seen no evidence of corrosion around the windshield or birdcage, which are the two most notorious spots for rust on a C3 Corvette.

Window Date Codes Please note that almost all of the glass on this Corvette, even the glass T-Tops are all date coded and original as they predate the car's body build date of the June 18, 1980 (I18).

Interior The Oyster Leather (122) interior in this Corvette is in absolutely outstanding original condition.
The gauge faces are crisp and clean and the lenses are crystal clear.
The seats looks just as nice in person as they do in the photos with no holes or excessive wear.
There is just a small amount of wear in the typical spot on the bolster.
Please note that these appear to be the original seats and skins, not some cheap aftermarket replacements or covers.
The carpet is also in great condition with no major stains, holes, or tears.
This includes the rear carpet, which is often neglected.
The dash and console look awesome with no cracks or sun fading.
The door panels are in great shape overall and the door pulls are solid and intact.
Also, unlike many other C3 Corvettes, the door panels fit well and tight to the door.
The jack and jack handle are still with the car, stored correctly behind the passenger seat, pictured in this ad with the original decals on the compartment lid.
The spare is also still with the car and appears to have never been used.
