Engine break-in by the book.
When I bought it, It ran and rode just awful, like all new MT09's do.
Terrible suspension compliance and throttle abruptness.
My Yamaha dealer did the recall ECU reprogramming but that did not solve it.
They then adjusted the O2 setting, replaced the tps sensor and now the bike runs correctly.
You will not like the way any MT09 runs off idle until you find a dealer willing to change the emission settings.
The rear shock was replaced with a Ktech Razor unit and front forks set to my weight (180) which has corrected the harshness over sharp edged road bumps.
It has a Givi rear luggage rack for use with Givi hard trunks or whatever you want to tie down back there.
Front and rear fender extenders to keep road slop to a minimum.
Wired for iphone, radar detector and battery tenders.
It comes with the brilliant Madstad windscreen which is a quick detachable design if you like the naked mini-cowl look better.
Although, if you spend much time on the interstate or take long distance rides the tall Madstad plus the attached MRA sport spoiler on top creates a near perfect wind pocket.
The bike has had the 600 mile dealer servicing done, and just runs better than new in every way due to the re-programming that I requested.

I've just reached a stage in motorcycle life where comfort matters more than performance.
Unlike other used MT09's you might find for sale, this one has never been wheeled, done a burnout or even revved to red line.
Compare the out the door dealer price for a new MT09 that needs even more money spent to fix its flaws with mine having $1500 in upgrades, a brand new appearance and much smoother running throttle response.
