VP of Operations and COO:
The VP of Hospital Operations will lead hospital operational delivery, ensuring the delivery of high quality, cost effective services that are innovative and responsive to the needs of patients.
The VP of Hospital Operations will work closely with the Hospital President, Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Medical Officer to improve the quality, safety, and experience of patients in our care.
The Senior Director Hospital Operations is a member of the hospitals senior leadership team and is responsible with the rest of the team the following objectives:
Assisting in the setting of the hospital's strategic direction, Achievement of corporate objectives including compliance with the vital few goals and objectives in addition to other personal LEM goals, Delivering high quality and safe care to patients, Promoting a high-performance culture, Promoting and living the TriHealth Way and fostering a culture which enables and motivates staff to deliver outstanding care and service to our patients and customers, Maintaining the financial strength by managing all financial goals and objectives Principal
Responsibilities:
Advise the president on matters relating to the operational delivery of clinical and clinical support services.
Support the Clinical Department in contributing to and implementing TriHealth's strategic priorities, developing a shared understanding and commitment to these priorities.
Ensure effective systems, processes and performance management arrangements are in place to deliver high standards of performance and the quality of patient services.
Ensure robust demand and capacity plans are in place to deliver the budgeted levels of volume and the potential demands of emergency activity.
Support the president in driving service development, modernization, and innovation across the hospital, promoting a culture of continuous service improvement.
Contribute to the development of the wider health systems population health strategy and in particular, the creation of services, systems, and processes to support admission avoidance and the timely discharge of patients from our hospital.
Assist the hospital in meeting their financial objectives and cost improvement targets and contribute effectively to the annual planning program and the development of business plans.
Attend Medical Executive Meetings, Hospital Leadership Meetings, and other required meetings.
Participate and occasionally lead daily operations/leadership huddles.
Take a direct management role over at least one Clinical or support department to start within the hospital as defined by the hospital president.
Add up to 3 additional support departments over the course of the year.
Possible departments include:
FANS (Food and Nutrition services), Logistics (Patient Transport and Supply/Distribution), Environmental Services, Facilities/Engineering, Imaging, and or Lab.
Take direct management of at least one of the CAHPS goals to include all direct transformational changes needed to achieve the goal for the campus.
Take lead on hospital improvement projects as assigned in the areas of expense reduction, process improvement, and other needed support areas.
Lead Hospital MFP initiatives such as the development of the Heart Hospital.
The expectation is the leader will be present on campus at least 90% of the time each week.
Participate in Admin on call rotation.
Backup the president on any daily operation issues.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
