Pharmacy Technician Compliance Auditor - Cincinnati, OH

PHARMACY COMPLIANCE AUDITORThe Pharmacy Compliance Auditor works under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy Operations and guidance of the Pharmacy Compliance Coordinators.
Performs audits when controlled substance diversion is suspected.
Audits include a review of automated dispensing cabinet reports, electronic medical record documentation, and RxAuditor for discrepancies and/or poor medication handling practices.
Performs other compliance audits as needed (340b, Pyxis Daily Reports, Pyxis Medication Override, etc).
Maintains positive working relationships with Pharmacy, Nursing, and Physician Leadership, Human Resources, and Security.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEDUCATION:
High School Degree or GED.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Active National Pharm Tech Cert (CPhT) is required.
Approved cert is through Pharm Tech Cert Board (PCTB) and ExCPT Cert by the National Healthcareer Association.
Active registration with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
Experience:
2-3 years Technical Pharmacy Experience must be as a Pharmacy Technician or Lead/Automation Technician.
