ULTRASONOGRAPHER-REGISTERED-GSH-Part Time Day

ULTRASONOGRAPHER-REGISTERED:
This position may exist in hospital imaging departments or in the perinatal specialty area and works under the general direction of the physician and/or supervision of the manager or supervisor. In hospital imaging, demonstrates competencies in a combination of breast, prostate, neonatal heads, abdominal and interventional ultrasound, performing ultrasound examinations in accordance with ACR guidelines and protocols. In the perinatal specialty, demonstrates competencies in a variety of OB procedures, performing ultrasound examinations in accordance with AIUM guidelines and protocols. In all areas, the incumbent is responsible for care of patients, accurate recordkeeping, care of equipment and other duties as assigned. This position is required RDMS in the appropriate field and must meet the minimum continuing education requirements of the registry and ACR/AIUM as appropriate.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program In Perinatal areas, Nuchal Translucency Testing Certification is required BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) RDMS or ARRT-US
Experience:
Preferred
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
This position is required RDMS in the appropriate field and must meet the minimum continuing education requirements of the registry and ACR/AIUM as appropriate.
