TriHealth is actively recruiting for an Applications Engineer for our IS Applications team in Cincinnati, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be EPIC certified and have experience with these Epic modules:
Cadence, Prelude (Grand Central/ADT Patient Registration), Healthy Planet, and others.
As an Applications Engineer, you perform high level technical systems analysis and programming in one or more specialized phases of applications. You are responsible and accountable for managing the application portion of projects from concept to completion. In this role, you prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written by understanding customer needs and processes to ensure maximum utilization of automation and system availability.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
- Work with other IS teams to ensure the performance of underlying technical infrastructure and software utilization
- Application development; including modifications of new and existing systems
- Customer support and consulting
- Facilitate meetings with to team members; providing updates and information to departments, management, and the organization
- Define and understand specifications
- Prepare request for proposals
- Participating in the system acquisition process and implementation
To be qualified for this role, you must meet these minimum requirements:
- EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in IS OR 1-2 years of experience in an IS related field in lieu of a degree
Experience:- 1-2 years of experience in an IS related field
- SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
- Flexible/adaptable learning and understanding new technologies
- Energized personality, team player, goal oriented, task and time management, results driven, strength in documentation (applications, processes, troubleshooting, ticket status), and ability to work independently (once established)
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
