Bethesda North Hospital seeks to hire a Nursing Student - PCA for our Med/Surg unit who will embrace our mission of improving the health status of the people we serve. The General Surgery unit care for patients after general surgery, gynecology, orthopedic and gastric bypass.

Summary:
The Nursing Student will provides assistance and/or performs basic activities of daily living and specified treatments and procedures under the direct supervision of the nurse. May perform non-direct patient care activities as assigned, requested, or directed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education:
High School Degree or GED. Completion of Nursing Student Clinical Training. - Licensure/Certification:
Current nursing student with first round of clinical rotation completed (verification will be required). BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) - training will be provided upon hire.
Experience:

PCA experience preferred but not required.- Specialized Knowledge:
Reading and math ability appropriate to the position.
