SURGICAL ASSISTANT I FULL-TIME DAY /EVENING
SURGICAL ASSISTANT I:
The surgical assistant works under the direction of an attending surgeon and performs duties in relation to pre-operative, operative and post-operative procedures as assigned by that attending surgeon.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) Professional certification (CRNFA, CSTFA, SA-C, CSFA, PA-C, or CSA) must be obtained within 12 months from date of employment
Experience:
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
Surgical procedures, extensive knowledge of A&P, excellent hand-eye coordination.
