STAFFING COORDINATOR
This position is accountable to management for the daily operations of the Supplemental Staffing Office.
This position is responsible and accountable for reviewing all staffing information supplied by the nursing units to determine whether the number and skill mix of the scheduled staff is appropriate according to current nurse/patient staffing guidelines.
This position, in collaboration with Nurse Managers, Assistant Nurse Managers and Charge nurses, allocates nursing resources on a 24 hour basis.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
- High School Degree or GED
Experience:
- Healthcare preferred but not required.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and great communication skills.
