TriHealth is actively recruiting for a Clinical Dietitian for our Corporate Health team in Cincinnati, Ohio.
This is an optional (PRN) position with no guaranteed schedule each week, or benefits offered.
In this role, you provide nutritional assessments, counseling, and follow up to clients and patients.
You oversee diabetes education program as well.
As part of our Corporate Health team, you may be responsible for providing any of the following based upon program, physician, and department needs:
- Develop nutrition awareness programs; providing instruction, treatment, education materials, consultations, diet analysis, cooking demonstrations
- Work with patients of multiple chronic disease states including Diabetes, Obesity, Heart Disease, Hypertension to achieve optimal outcomes
To be qualified for this position, you must meet these minimum requirements:
- EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Dietetics, or Nutritional Science
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS/CPR)
- Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Ohio Licensure:
dietetic limited permit is accepted upon hire; required to pass the registered Dietitian exam within 4 months of hire - Applicants not on a limited permit are required to have both licensure and AND registration
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of professional experience
- SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Computer application skills
