SECURITY INVESTIGATOR:
Handle all reports and calls for service that require a further, deeper investigative process and expertise.
Able to translate complex medical investigations so law enforcement agencies and prosecutor s office can take further action if deemed necessary.
In general, investigations will follow the same process and documentation to ensure the process is consistent at all times.
Continue and build on the working relationships with the local police jurisdictions and prosecutors office and be the point of contact for criminal investigations for the TriHealth system when deemed appropriate.
Cooperate with other local healthcare system investigators to stay informed on current trends.
Examples of entities containing a level of expertise and information include:
NADDI, ASIS, IHFDA and government law enforcement representatives.
Continue to improve the process and make recommendations for change for activities including, but not limited to, suspected drug diversion, theft, threats and other activities that may constitute a crime and/or serious violation of policy.
Possess a strong working knowledge of healthcare policies and compliance regulations as it relates to possible violations, investigations, documentation and other procedures.
Examples being Pharmacy Board, Nursing Board, and DEA.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
High School Degree or GED None
Experience:
3-4 years Professional Criminal Justice Law Enforcement or Security Experience
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
Familiar with Ohio Revised Code and the prosecution process within county jurisdictions.
Familiar compliance rules and regulations set by governing bodies in the state of Ohio.
