TriHealth is actively recruiting for an optional (PRN) Swim Instructor for our fitness pavilion in Blue Ash.
This is a schedule based role meaning no hours are guaranteed each week.

As a Swim Instructor, you will instruct individual & group participants in basic water skills, stroke development, personal rescue, and water safety.
You will use your knowledge of basic rescue techniques to teach others by hands on demonstration.

To be qualified for this position, you must meet these minimum requirements:

  • EDUCATION:
    • 2 years of High School Education
    • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS/CPR)
    • American Red Cross Lifeguard certification (YMCA or other certifications may be accepted)
    • First Aid certified
  • One of the following is required as well
    • 1 year of Swim Coach experience
    • Swim Coach certification
    • WSI (American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor)
  • SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
    • Knowledge and demonstration of basic rescue techniques; excellent swimming skills including ability to swim 500 meters using the five basic strokes

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
