The following are the duties of this position at the GS-14. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. - Develop and oversee the policies, procedures and processes necessary to provide information security and privacy protections commensurate with the risk and magnitude of the harm resulting from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction of information; protect all cyber information and information systems and implement the requirements of applicable laws and regulations required to maintain national security, while ensuring business operations proceed without interruption or compromise. - Serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert (SME) and technical authority for TTB. Drive the development of long and short-term plans, policies and remediation for Cybersecurity posture management and improvement. Focus on protection of the TTB infrastructure and systems hosted internally and externally. Research and utilize security best practice guidance and threat tactics, techniques and practices in determining security protections, plans and program direction. Determine, formulate, and write policy, guidelines, and procedures to oversee the Cybersecurity Defense Program and ensure it is implemented and effective in all TTB operations. - Enforce the Bureau-wide process to certify that its information systems comply with documented security requirements and continue to maintain the accredited security posture throughout the system life cycle. Experience:
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Participating in the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance and enhancement of information system security compliance programs, policies and procedures; AND - Providing assistance with investigations and solutions to security issues or incidents; AND - Performing tasks directly related to the implementation, sponsorship, maintenance and adherence to protocols regarding Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM), Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), and HSPD-12 Logical Access Control System (LACS) processes and procedures In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must also show proficiency in 1) attention to detail, 2) customer service, 3) oral communication, and 4) problem solving.In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12level for 52 weeks.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
