If you are a current permanent Army employee, this position will be filled from employees eligible for temporary promotion or temporary reassignment or temporary change to lower grade. The position is temporary not to exceed one (1) year with provisions to extend in increments of up to one (1) year for a total of (5) years. This position may be converted to permanent without further competition for current Army employees This Position may be filled as a Temporary Appointment NTE 12 Months, if the candidate is not a current permanent Army employee. This position is a temporary position and may be extended in one year increments up to a maximum of three years. Who May Apply:

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as:
Provides HR recommendations, and maintain currency of program developments, laws, regulations and procedures. Assists in providing policy oversight, and program evaluation of the administrative and technical aspects of human resource disciplines in the Division. Serves as the expert advisor on all human resources management and administration issues within the Division. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
