You will:
Inform and educate supervisors, managers, and employees of legal, regulatory, and agency requirements. Consult with supervisors,managers, and other human resources specialist to jointly develop strategies and solutions to resolve difficult or controversial humanresources management issues so that management objectives and statutory requirements are met. Provide authoritative advice to managers, supervisors and employees in assigned organizations regarding complex recruitment andplacement actions. Consult with managers and/or subject matter experts to develop effective recruitment methods and strategies Process a full range of personnel/payroll actions and perform regulatory review of SF-52S to ensure accuracy. Provide position classification services to assigned organizations to include determining adequacy of position descriptions (PDs), conductaudits to determine PD accuracy, prepare evaluation statements, and communicate findings of classification reviews and classificationrationale. You do not need a degree to qualify for this position.We are looking for at least one year of specialized experience related to this position as described below:
To qualify for the GS-12 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-11 level defined asresearching and analyzing human resources laws to advise customers on staffing and recruitment including merit promotion, direct hire, delegated examining, superior qualification appointments, and/or non-competitive hiring authorities while applying a full range of human resources principles to a wide range of human resources actions to also include position classification and pay setting. Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of human resources processes and procedures. Skill in written communication. Skill in oral communication sufficient to explain difficult or controversial decisions and gain cooperation or acceptance of recommendations. Knowledge of federal staffing and classification policies and procedures. Ability to research and interpret human resources policies and procedures. Skill in utilizing processing and recruitment automated systems. Knowledge of human resources processes and procedures. Knowledge of federal position classification policies and procedures. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
