Degree:
A. Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in economics that includes 21 semester hours in economics and 3 semester hours in statistics, accounting, or calculus. OR B. Combination of Education and
Experience:
Courses equivalent to a major in economics, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with quality assurance reviews for risk-informed economic evaluations and social impact assessments for water and related land resource projects; analyzing scientific and technical information for planning objectives; and analyze and assist with the development of economic policy. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). One year of specialized experience which includes managing and providing quality assurance for risk-informed economic evaluations and social impact assessments for water and related land resource projects; analyzing scientific and technical information to develop economically feasible alternatives for planning objectives; and analyze and develop economic policy. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
