Intern - Client Engagement

As a client engagement intern, you'll learn how to better understand and address business and campaign needs, solve problems, and build strong professional relationships with clients.
You'll help coordinate the execution of campaigns and projects and provide general support to the client engagement team. This will include maintaining the daily or weekly status, organizing team meetings, producing conference reports, executing and managing aspects of creative development and production projects, learning VMLY&R processes, and more.
What You'll Be Doing
Taking accurate meeting notes, capturing action items and transferring actions to the weekly status when necessary
Tracking revisions to jobs and ensuring information is documented and communicated to team members
Maintaining/updating weekly status reports
Scheduling and coordinating client meetings
Assisting with creating and editing business documents
Assisting in entry-level financial activities, such as drafting scopes and preparing billing for review with a supervisor
Ensuring collaboration sites are kept current
Researching client business
Participating in key client meetings
What We're Looking For
Junior, senior, or nontraditional student in college or recent graduate with coursework or experience in a related field
Solid communication skills
Strong organization skills
Attention to detail, willingness to ask questions, ability to follow up and knowledge of overall account logistics
Managing up and knowing when to escalate client and/or internal concerns
Initiative, enthusiasm to learn and ability to follow directions
Interest in digital and technology required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
