Gift Shop Clerk
GIFT SHOP CLERK: This position is responsible for the following: Selling items and waiting on customers; Cleaning, arranging and displaying of merchandise and shop; Merchandise received is checked against inventory then stored away; Prepares final deposits for Accounting; Trains all new volunteers and clerks for shop; Evaluates volunteers' job performance and relays concerns of volunteers or comments concerning volunteers to Gift Shop Coordinator and Volunteer Resources Supervisor; Staffs shop when volunteers are not available and maintain daily operations of shop when Gift Shop Coordinator is on buying trip or vacation or Coordinator requests assistance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: High School Degree or GED
Experience:
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Use of Cash Register - able to communicate with customers - sales experience
