HOSPICE PERSONAL CARE SPECIALIST: This position is assigned specific tasks or duties. Under the direction of a registered nurse, this position will assist with, and/or perform basic activities of daily living. This position is responsible for knowing safety policies and following approved procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: High School Degree or GED Successful completion of Home Health Aide competency skills checklist as required by Medicare regulations BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) STNA Certification; Completion of Nursing Student Clinical Training is also acceptable and only required upon hire.
Experience: HHA Experience 6 months or current nursing student who has completed the basic skills clinical (preferred)
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: This position works for Hospice of Cincinnati's East Inpatient Care Center team. Must float to other inpatient units as needed: Blue Ash, Hamilton, West. Must have reliable transportation.
