Job Summary
Responsible for providing a variety of complex financial analyses and reports. Duties include research, collection, interpretation, and compilation of financial data from multiple sources, such as sales, production, accounting systems, public sources, or vendors and subsequent analysis of that data to produce business information and reports used to support decisions. Verifies the accuracy of data and all assumptions.
Job duties
Coordinate and control business-planning process, incorporating information provided from all areas of the Division to develop projections relating to cash flow & working capital (inventory)
In depth familiarity with indirect cash flow methodology.
Develop and present weekly and monthly short-term forecasts by monitoring actual results and getting feedback from functional managers.
Analyze data and prepare variance analysis as required.
Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly financial reports.
Support the development and presentation of the annual and five-year plans.
Maintain the financial forecasting system.
Special projects and ad-hoc analyses as required
Assist in leading the Division's ASC 606 Revenue Recognition implementation efforts
Gathers historical cost data on such activities as material purchases, labor, equipment depreciation, repairs, assembly, operating expenses, etc.
Investigates cost structures for new and existing areas of the company. Prepare existing or projected profitability analysis. Ensures continued approved status of major business processes and systems required to do business with the U.S. Government.
Supports other departments through development of reports to provide required financial data.
Assist other members of the Finance department with performance of financial analysis and required review of data before submission.
Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that is cooperative and supportive of customers, co-workers and managers.

Candidate Qualifications
Bachelor in Finance or Accounting with 9-14 years' relevant work experience required. CPA preferred. The successful candidate will have a sense of urgency and proactive mentality toward achieving of goals, priority setting, efficiency and decision making. The candidate will utilize financial data to diagnose business strengths and weaknesses and identify the implications for potential strategies; keeping a financial perspective in the forefront when making strategic decisions. Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives. Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment. Extensive use of Microsoft Office with special emphasis on Excel knowledge is required. DoD experience and experience with report writing programs required. COGNOS experience a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
