The Infrared Products Strategic Business Unit of CE is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Mechanical Engineer. This individual will perform Mechanical design to support mechanical packaging of sensors and camera assemblies
Responsibilities include supporting the IR Products Strategic Business Unit by interacting cross-functionally with various engineering disciplines, Purchasing, Quality, and vendors to sustain the existing product line. Creation of Interface Control Drawings (ICD), component and assembly models/drawings of Imaging Systems and participating in engineering design reviews and product development teams will be critical. Creating and checking manufacturing drawings for part/assembly fabrication is also an essential task, along with interfacing with Manufacturing Engineering in support of product transition, test fixture design, and design rule generation. Another key responsibility includes the coordination and tracking of changes to the Bill of Materials.

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. Engineering co-op/intern experience is strongly desired.
Mechanical CAD proficiency using both 2D and 3D modeling is required (SolidWorks, IDEAS, and AutoCAD).
Experience with geometric tolerancing per ASME Y14.5 and stack-up tolerances is also required.
Must be a self-starter and adept at functioning in a small group for projects starting from initial conceptual design to manufacturing hand-off, including; detail design, light assembly, testing, results documentation, and completing tasks on schedule.
Strong problem solving skills on technical issues is a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
