Job Summary
BSEE/MSEE with 5-8 years relevant work experience. An Experienced Design engineer, capable of leading a portion of the design team, in developing specialized product designs and development tasks. Primary product is the development of Specialized Test Equipment used to test product. Capable of delegating work to lower level engineers and technicians. Present designs to customers for review and address technical issues. A solid understanding of circuit theory, components, firmware, software and troubleshooting skills is required.
Job Duties
Basic assignments focus on the Design and Development of Specialized Systems and Specialized Test Equipment for Electronic, Electro-mechanical, and Mechanical products. The candidate should be well versed in Microprocessor Assembly Language Programming (Motorola / ARM), Embedded C, Visual Basic Programming, Digital Programmable Logic Design (Altera / Actel), Analog Circuit Design, Data Acquisition Design, Printed Circuit Design, and System Level Engineering. CAE tools and laboratory equipment will be utilized used to perform these tasks. Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles and theories. Independently determines and develops approach to technical solutions and work is only generally supervised. Individuals develop imaginative solutions to a wide range of difficult technical problems.

Candidate Qualifications
BSEE with 5-8 years of full time work experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and various CAD/CAE tools. The individual will have a history of setting high goals and standards for self, others, and the organization, be dissatisfied with average performance and assume full responsibility for results. The individual will be a self starter, identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities, effectively manage one's time and resources, be a team player and possess strong communication and written skills. Strong focus on originating action to improve existing conditions and processes, identifying improvement opportunities, generating ideas, and implementing solutions are also characteristics of a strong candidate. Individuals will also demonstrate professional and ethical behavior in all business dealings.
