Digital Design Engineer

L-3 Cincinnati Electronics is currently in need of an Electrical Engineer to support new product development within the Space Products development team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of a team that designs and implements spacecraft and launch vehicle communication and avionics equipment.

Responsibilities include digital systems design using VHDL to develop and implement digital wireless receivers, transmitters, transponders, and launch vehicle avionics equipment. Candidates with experience developing algorithms for digital signal processing, forward error correction coding and decoding, encryption/decryption, waveforms and data protocols in FPGAs are desired. System modeling and simulation capabilities utilizing MatLab/ Simulink and ModelSim/Questa tools are preferred.
The position involves working in teams to generate technical proposals, present at design reviews, perform requirements development, system architecture development, system partitioning, assessing system performance using analysis, simulation, and laboratory testing.

Qualifications
This position requires a BSEE, BSEET, or BSECE degree. We are seeking a candidate with 3 years of demonstrated experience in the specification, design, implementation, simulation, test, verification, validation, and debugging of digital communication systems, avionics systems, and/or control systems. Experience with Actel FPGAs is a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
