Senior Busines Development - Sales Account Manager
Automotive Division of Contract Manufacturing Plastic Injection Molding client seeks strong Business Development professional to join their Detroit Sales Office in Southfield, MI.
Opportunity reports to the Director of Automotive Sales, North America for this privately-held, growing and profitable company.
Position
Summary:
-Book new business to meet sales growth plans for assigned customers at acceptable gross margins.
-Penetrate new target customer accounts and obtain purchase orders at acceptable gross margins.
-Provide timely and accurate information to client on assigned customers and appropriate competitor activities, and new trends/new opportunities for growth within client's Automotive market.
Position Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree is required. Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Plastics Technology Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Business Administration major is strongly preferred.
-Minimum of five (5) years of recent experience in automotive sales in plastic parts is required.
-Experience with Tier One customers and/or under-the-hood powertrain applications (fuel, brake, steering, transmission, suspension or engine management systems) is strongly preferred.
-Demonstrated success at booking significant new business and expanding business within accounts is required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
