The Sales
, General Contractor (GC) Sales & Retention
is to lead,
, mentor, and support the GC Sales Representatives' and Market Managers' efforts to sell commercial General Contractor customer the iSqFt for General Contractor
; in addition to increase the retention of existing customers to achieve and surpass sales goals.
The Sales Manager, GC Sales & Retention position is accountable for maintaining department records on a daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly basis, including daily call volume activity, talk time, and Sales Force documentation, opportunity pipeline development and management of a monthly forecast for the groups but reportable on a weekly basis. The focus of the role is motivating, training, supporting, and assisting in closing new sales & retaining clients across the team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Drive needs-based (customer/prospect input) and consultative selling techniques to determine product and service needs for both new and ongoing client growth.
Lead, train, and coach sales representatives to introduce new iSqFt products to targeted prospects.
Conduct training as it relates to inbound lead follow-up and inside (proactive) cold calling sales skills, sales techniques and product knowledge. This will include ongoing call monitoring and taping for training and quality purposes.
Provide appropriate input to Senior Management to develop and or adjust the focus of selling/retaining efforts in this group.
Maintain customer databases of current & potential customers in SalesForce.com
Leadership and supervisory tasks for the GC Sales & Retention team, such as, monitoring sales performance, PTO requests, validating sales, addressing and resolving content issues with the appropriate individuals, providing coaching, mentoring and training for new and experienced sales representatives, web seminar coordination and other general leadership duties as deemed necessary.
Must be able to meet established new & retained sales goals and objectives on a continuing, regular basis as determined by management. Inability to achieve these goals and objectives over specified period of time will result in corrective action, training, other measures or even eventual transfer of assignment or termination.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must have:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
High level of initiative
Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
Excellent organizational skills
Experience and Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
Must have 4 - 6 years direct inside selling experience with 1-2 years experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
Construction experience preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
