Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the medical assisting program including curriculum design, implementation procedures, assessment and evaluation, and data collection and reporting for programmatic accreditation.
Recruit and maintain members for the program Advisory Committee as required for CAAHEP accredited programs and schedule meetings at least once annually for input and reporting processes.
Assist in planning, monitoring and evaluating the instruction and supervision provided by adjunct (part-time) instructors and off-campus preceptors at clinical sites.
Contribute to campus and college activities and initiatives including participating in program and department faculty meetings and serving on committees and participating in college functions.
Teach all technical courses within the program utilizing any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and/or experience.

The program coordinator will hold office hours for the purpose of meeting with students to provide individual instruction and/or guidance; Assess the instructional needs of students in the program and coordinate the development of a plan to address these needs with the College Academic Support professionals; Work with the College Admissions team to recruit students into the program; and Participate in student activities, pinning, and graduation ceremonies.
Job Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for the instruction of students in the general education program; responsible for classroom and laboratory teaching activities in assigned course. Actively supports an outcomes-based learning centered culture through continued professional development for improvement of self and the college in keeping with the College's learning-centered values and goals. Reports to and operates under the direction and supervision of the Department Chair.
Job Requirements:
Master's Degree in a field related to the course discpline
Provide evidence of recognized professional competence Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Must have either proven or presumptive scholarship in subject matter field
3-4 years experience in Education
2-3 years experience Teaching faculty will have at least 24months of sufficient diversified professional experience to support effective teaching

Participates in the planning and implementation of the course, and reviews and revises content as necessary. Selects audiovisual materials, references and other appropriate resources to facilitate learning. Prepares, administers and analyzes evaluation methods. Coordinates learning experience with appropriate clinical staff. Consults with area Department Chair. Attends course meetings.
Presents in an organized manner. Develops presentation to encompass new concepts, principles, term and clinical application. Presents in an expressive manner encouraging student contributions. Uses a variety of teaching strategies. Implements ongoing assessment of student learning.
Evaluates student achievement of expected learning behaviors. Provides verbal/written feedback.
Supports college operations. Participates in systematic plans of evaluation. Participates in the advisory roll for student learning. Attends college functions. Supports college goals. Serves as a member of a committee, sub-committee or task force in addition to College Assembly. Attends college educational programs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
