Located 15 miles north of metropolitan Cincinnati, the Winton Woods City School District serves approximately 4,200 students from the three neighboring communities of Greenhills, Forest Park and northern Springfield Township. The district's location in the north end of the I-275 loop provides easy access to the Greater Cincinnati Metropolitan area which features museums, theaters, colleges and universities, opera, ballet, symphony, Pops orchestra and two professional sports teams, as well as the third largest zoo in the country.

With the approval of our families and communities, Winton Woods City Schools has moved forward with new district facilities. This includes three campuses, a Pre-K campus will be located on the site of the former Winton Woods Intermediate School, a 1st - 6th grade elementary campus is located in Greenhills, and a 7th - 12th grade secondary campus on the current Winton Woods High School site in Forest Park. Both the elementary and secondary campuses have shared community spaces.
Winton Woods City Schools serves students and their families in the communities of Forest Park, Greenhills and Springfield Township and is an open enrollment district.
Both Winton Woods Intermediate School (grades 5-6) and Winton Woods Middle School (grades 7-8) are now New Tech Network schools, with a focus on project-based learning. The middle school offers math and foreign language classes for high school credit, advanced classes in science and language arts, elective engineering courses that introduce students to technology and robotics, and many sports and extra-curricular clubs. Our fifth and sixth grade building offers strong academics and a variety of fine arts options-band, orchestra, choir and visual arts, with many extra-curricular activities and clubs.
Winton Woods High School is fully accredited by Advanced Ed and is a full member of the Southern Regional Educational Board (SREB) High Schools That Work (HSTW) school improvement network. Every student on the main campus who is enrolled in College Prep, Honors or Advanced Placement courses is attached to the Academy of Global Studies (AGS) or the New Tech Academy (NTA).
The district offers 22 competitive varsity sports, as well as club sports opportunities that begin in elementary school. The district added crew (rowing) and lacrosse to its high school sports offerings. Chorus, band and orchestra are offered beginning in fifth grade, and all students in grades 1-6 participate in visual or performing arts courses. The district is recognized throughout the region for its outstanding music offerings and has earned regional, state and international honors for its choir, band, orchestra and art programs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
