Program Manager (National) - ADL (Open to FHWA employees with Status)

DutiesThe Program Manager (National):
Leads, administers, and oversees an annual $50 - $60 million planning budget for annual activities and agencies.
Coordinates financial allocations to Federal land management agencies and FLH division offices.
Reviews partners' fiscal year workplans and budgets along with prior FY accomplishments to ensure satisfactory stewardship and oversight of all planning funds.
Provides expert advice on the development and analysis of legislative, regulatory and guidance proposals.
Leads the development and coordination of procedures and/or instructions that are consistent with the metropolitan and statewide planning processes required under 23 U.
S.
C134 and 135.
The ideal candidate has experience leading people, managing, and administering / overseeing an annual transportation planning budget for eligible activities in cooperation and coordination with partnering agencies and organizations in support of a broad range of activities and projects and a range of functional areas.

To qualify for the Grade 14, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13, it must include:
Experience providing policy, direction, and oversight for asset management and transportation planning program.
Experience managing budget(s) and funding for a portfolio of projects that supports a range of functional activities.
Experience in developing and coordinating of procedures and oversight of funding.
