6K a year 13 days ago 13 days ago 13 days ago Under the direction of the Director of HR, the Recruiting Manager is responsible for the Independent Contractor (IC) recruiting processes and acts as the steward for compliance, legal, and ethical contracting practices, which result in the minimization of the risk of legal challenges.
This role has oversight of the Recruiting and Onboarding Specialists and all related processes, databases, certifications, and accountabilities.
This role provides counsel and support to Operations Management and team members.
Remains vigilant about streamlining operating efficiency, error elimination/resolution, and increased productivity; utilizes PDI methodology and tools.

Responsibilities:
Set goals and benchmarks for the Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist (ROS) processes.
Manages all aspects of IC recruiting and onboarding processes to ensure 100% compliance.
Manages all aspects of the attraction, recruiting, and onboarding processes to ensure adequate pipeline and adherence to ads for compliance and quality.
Oversight and management of pipeline budget Drives accountability with team members for all compliance areas Conducts weekly one-on-one meetings and team meetings and maintains performance documentation.
Monitors ROS workload and redistributes as needed.
Ensures database integrity and ensures recovery of IC expenses.
Collaborates with Operations and the Director of HR to create new processes and procedures to improve IC retention.
Serves as administrator for the ATS system, creates reports, and ensures that ATS utilization provides maximum transparency and productivity for the attraction, recruiting, and IC onboarding processes.
Assists in the strategy of creating and implementing social media/pipeline creation for IC partners.
Maintains IC recruiting workload to stay well-versed in processes and procedures.
Lead, motivate, train, mentor, and hold the ROS team accountable for performance metrics.
Ensures compliance with all aspects of onboarding, including MVRs, BWCs, uniforms, IC agreements, Statements of Work, drug screens, criminal background checks, and DOT medical exams.
Collaborates across departments to maintain good communication and assist with holding Operations accountable in the recruiting and onboarding processes and procedures.
Develop and implement effective recruiting and onboarding processes and programs to achieve departmental goals.
Keeps top of mind the personal responsibility for cost containment and contribution to Company profitability to ensure long-term prosperity.
Travel 25%, quarterly onsite market visits.

Education & Experience Bachelor's degree with a concentration in business, HR or other relevant field Minimum of 5 years of managerial or supervisor experience in high-volume recruiting Minimum of 3 years experience in logistics, preferably in the courier space Project management experience Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
Working knowledge of labor laws and Independent Contractor misclassification Job Type:
