We are looking for the right person to fill the role of Support Engineer II whose primary responsibility is to diagnose, resolve and document incident tickets for clients remotely as well as onsite, as needed.
As a member of our internal support team, a Support Engineer II is part of a robust team, spanning different technical levels, who work together to apply the right expertise to every request, escalating issues as needed and doing whatever it takes to deliver a superior service experience for our clients.

Strong knowledge of:
Network Troubleshooting:
identify VLAN issues, DHCP, DNS, and circuit/ISP issuesMicrosoft Servers:
knowing differences between physical/virtual servers, patching & maintenance, adding new drivers to print serversActive Directory:
how Domain Controllers work, group policy and security groupsExperience installing, troubleshooting, and training on network equipment and Microsoft serversStrong knowledge with AzureAD and Microsoft 365Strong knowledge with remote management of client computers and servers, including pushing scripts and running action creations (Datto RMM)As a Skynet IT Support Engineer II (Hybrid), we're counting on you to:
Take ownership and be accountable for solving service support tickets without reassigning the ticketSuccessfully follow client protocols, processes and policies as outlined and presented by management via email, training materials and required team meetingsDocumenting new customer findings by creating or updating articles in knowledge base (ITGlue)Building client rapport during onsite assignments (via in person troubleshooting, site walk throughs, face time, etc.
)Maintain strong knowledge of technical infrastructure (servers, network, applications, etc.
