As an outgrowth of the NewVista brand, Lynx works closely with hospitals, nursing homes, and private individuals to provide high quality, professional emergency medical care.
The Operations Manager oversees a team of 4 Regional Supervisors and the dispatch team for the state of Ohio.
The Operation Manager is responsible for directing daily operations including inventory, fleet management, financial management and compliance.
The successful candidate must have basic knowledge of personnel management and excellent communication skills.
EMS management experience required.
The Operations Manager position is an in-person role based at our Corporate Headquarters in Blue Ash, Ohio (suburb of Cincinnati).
Responsibilities:
The Operations Manager is responsible for all activities and ensuring successful daily operations as well as market growth.
Creates strategic decisions based on policy, analysis and planning.
Take initiative to develop policies and procedures to create new and/or improve current practices as related to ambulance staffing, stocking, and transportation.
The Operations Manager is expected to be accessible as needed.
Assists with the recruitment, orientation & retention of new staff.
The Operations Manager must be able to work independently and demonstrate accountability to define goals and objectives to achieve desired outcomes.
Individuals should have knowledge of relevant equipment, policies and procedures.
Individuals are required to have a strong commitment and will need to provide outstanding services and have a clear customer focus.
It is essential for the Division Manager to be flexible, creative and innovative in adapting the program to changing business needs.
Experience:
o Prior Ambulance/EMS management required Recommended Skills Adaptability Clinical Works Communication Expediting Financial Management Flexible Working Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
