Come join their winning team!This Contract role as a Data Engineer in Cincinnati, OH will be responsible for building a standard Excel reporting template document that uses multiple datasets and aggregates into different data cuts to summarize multiple data elements and highlight trends for easy analysis.
The Director, Trading & Investment will provide an overview of the reporting needs, inputs, desired outputs, and lead the project direction.
Responsibilities:
4 to 6 different datasets to be ingested likely via Copy and Paste from external reports received in Excel.
Build formulas to aggregate dataset into different views (SUMIFS).
Format data into client-facing view.
Document instructions for adding data and any ongoing updates such as date range changes, etc.
Requirements:
Ability to create reports from consolidated data.
Power BI experience Tableau experience Highly proficient in Excel writing formulas and consolidating data.
Attention to detail to verify data is error free Able to take deployed priorities and segment the data with those priorities.
Able to learn new tools to pull data (training will be provided) Compile and analyze data, creates reports, and provides information regarding function specific policies and procedures for applied use of management, and tracking and control of processes, projects and activities.
Perform and document data analysis, data validation, data mapping/design, and produce reporting iterations to deliver guided business analysis.
Scope and Design Service Operations Dashboards Maintain our data dictionary and calculated metrics across our reporting portfolio Continuous learner that research, recommends, and leverages new features of the Power BI platform Leverage Power platform to automate data integration and ingestion into our data architecture Data Governance
