This role works onsite and in person with internal customers in downtown Cincinnati and other Sheriff's Office locations throughout Hamilton County.
No relocation assistance is offered.
Starting hourly rate is:
$19.
90/hour This is a union role and is eligible for annual pay increases per the union contract (currently up to $31.
99/per hour after 5 years).
Job Duties:
Researches and documents hardware and software problems and forwards to division/section commanders as appropriate; responds to inquiries and complaints; documents inquiries and complaints for future referencing.
Assists with the installation and configuration of computer systems; analyzes needs and tasks to determine the suitability of the system; maintains extensive documentation to support projects.
Provides support for systems users by classifying, organizing, and distributing information necessary to system users; maintains a library of information manuals, brochures, and other pertinent information to maintain knowledge of the latest procedures, techniques, equipment, software, etc.
Generates statistics, projections, etc.
, for specific projects; Instructs users in proper operation and maintenance of sensitive equipment; maintains, organizes, and cleans systems.
Requirements:
Associate Degree (A.
S.
) in Information Systems from a Technical College or University with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience and/or training in an IS-related field or a combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated experience supporting users with desktop support in person and over the phone in a professional setting.
A+, Network+, and Microsoft certifications are a plus for consideration.
Must maintain a flexible schedule and be willing to work overtime if necessary.
Must be willing and able to support HCSO locations around Hamilton County.
Required to carry a cell phone.
Valid driver's license issued by the state of residency.
Skills in:
Experience supporting users with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange, wired and wireless networks.
Experience in installing, monitoring, and maintaining desktop equipment.
Exceptional ability to work as part of a team, provide IT support, and resolve errors.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
