An employer is seeking a remote Sr.
Cloud OpenShift Engineer.
This induvial will be joining a growing Professional Services division and handle various engagement with different clients.
The Senior Cloud OpenShift Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and services with a focus on AWS, Azure, and DevOps practices.
You will be responsible for leading a team of Cloud Engineers and providing technical guidance and expertise to ensure the availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based systems.
You will also be responsible for designing and implementing automation using Ansible and supporting Red Hat Linux and OpenShift environments.
Key
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services using AWS and Azure.
Design and implement automation using Ansible Automation Platform to support cloud-based systems.
Lead a team of Cloud Engineers and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
Collaborate with other IT leaders to develop and implement cloud strategies and policies.
Monitor cloud infrastructure and services for availability, performance, and security.
Implement and manage Red Hat Linux and OpenShift environments.
Keep up to date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified:
Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Red Hat Certified Engineer.
MSP/ Professional Services experience Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor team members.
Experience with other cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 5
years experience in cloud engineering in AWS and Azure platforms Experience with Ansible Automation Platform Experience with Red Hat Linux and OpenShift Strong experience with DevOps practices, including automation, continuous integration/continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code.
