is an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) company based in Northeast Ohio with an opportunity for a Survey Party Chief.
The role is responsible for overseeing land surveys in the field, including conducting preliminary, location, construction, property, precise, and other engineering surveys.
Responsible for leading a one-man survey crew in required project layout staking operations Accurately reads and interprets engineering plans Assist the Survey Chief in scheduling with Project Superintendents and Survey Coordinator Actively communicates with project supervision, Survey Manager or Coordinator daily or as needed Generates all project stakeout data information from survey software Operate survey instruments such as robotic total stations, data collectors, laser scanners, GPS, and other standard survey equipment to collect field data Interpret construction plans, perform necessary calculations in the field, and perform construction layout Education High School Diploma BS in Civil Engineering, Civil Technology, Surveying & Mapping OR equivalent experience Minimum Experience Candidates with 2
years as Survey Crew Member 2 years' experience utilizing GPS and Robotic Survey equipment of experience Professional Certification OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid or ability and willingness to acquire Job Type:
