In this role, you will have a significant impact on the quality, reliability, and performance of our ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes within the Supply Chain team.
This position offers a balanced blend of development and testing responsibilities, with a focus on maintaining and enhancing our data pipeline to ensure robustness, scalability, and fault tolerance.
Key
Responsibilities:
Lead quality initiatives within the ETL project, establishing quality standards, best practices, and testing methodologies.
Continuously enhance ETL processes for efficiency, scalability, and reliability, optimizing data flows and transformations.
Independently identify and resolve intricate technical issues related to data quality, performance, and data pipeline integrity.
Collaborate closely with data engineers, data scientists, and various stakeholders to comprehend requirements and uphold data integrity.
Develop and maintain automated testing scripts and procedures to validate data accuracy and ensure the functionality of the data pipeline.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL processes, configurations, and quality control procedures.
Utilize excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey information to customers and colleagues at all levels within the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a specific focus on ETL and data quality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Python for ETL processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Experience with automated testing and quality assurance methodologies.
Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and database systems is a plus.
