Job DescriptionWe are currently hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in Cincinnati, OH.
The Maintenance Supervisor fosters a team-oriented and Safety First environment.
Participates in establishing the overall strategy and operational plan that will concentrate efforts toward successful achievement of the Packaging goals.
Recruit, hire, supervise and review performance of direct reports and develop staff professionally and technically to meet goals.
Responsible for first pass approval of all purchase order requests from mechanics, practical and economical scheduling of overtime work, and record-keeping and reporting for the maintenance shop.
What You'll Brew:
Responsible for day-to-day operations and efficiency as related to maintenance Conduct weekly review and filing of PM reports and maintaining work order system Ability to direct the maintenance and repair of machines of varying types (some of a very complex nature) for use in the manufacture of company products Develops processes, methods, tooling and production controls for new programs; supervises their assembly and proofing Directs set up of new equipment, ensures its satisfactory operation, and instructs others to use the new equipment properly Writes procedures for the operation of new or existing equipment Stays informed of new manufacturing technology and equipment, and investigates their potential applications Recommends incorporation of new technology for company applications where feasible and practical.
Responsible for the hiring, onboarding, training, and retaining of engaged & high-performing coworkers.
Ensures that direct reports are provided with clear expectations & direction and are empowered and held accountable to achieve their goals and perform their jobs Builds a collaborative & results-oriented team by resolving conflicts as they arise, removing roadblocks, inspiring people to action, and helping the team to decide to change and/or make changes What Ingredients You'll Bring:
Minimum
Qualifications:
8
years' experience in Maintenance Management with process control, instrumentation, and machinery maintenance experience Experience in capital appropriation evaluation and analysis Working knowledge of computer systems and data processing Familiar with high volume automated production equipment Experience with computer-based preventative maintenance program Understanding of Computerized Management Maintenance System Preferred
Qualifications:
Additional Skills (Computer/Technical):
MS OFFICE (Word and Excel), Allen Bradley Control Logix, TI505 (Workshop 505), S7 (Siemens), Citect SCADA systems, drive and instrumentation tuning and calibration, Panelview/Panelmate configuration and programming Knowledgeable in mechanical principles, machining practices, the properties of metals, and the application of mathematics and dimensions to production machinery and tooling.
Bachelor's Degree with concentration of course work in Industrial or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience/education.
