Welder/Fabricator, Electric Arc - $ 2nd Shift 1,500 Sign On Bonus!

Rotex is looking for a Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio.
This is a second shift position, with a standard 4-day,10-hour workday schedule.
Second shift schedules are Monday-Thursday, from 3:
30PM-2:
00AM.
This position pays a competitive rate per hour, with guaranteed annual increases, plus a 10% shift differential, and opportunities for overtime.

Opportunities for development and advancement What you'll do:
Perform welding of ferrous metal parts including setup, fit-up, tack welding, gas burning and cutting, finish welding, straightening, and checking.
Fabricate sub-assemblies and assemblies such as:
Box Frames, Cooler Decks, Bases, Bottom Pans, Top Covers, and items of 16 gage and heavier, etc.
, in accordance with drawings and other specifications using necessary equipment, tools, jigs and fixtures.
Welding processes are:
SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), and FCAW (Flux Cored Arch Welding).
Breakdown of Essential Job Functions With technical drawings or plans as a guide use applicable tools to create a joint or intersection of two metal pieces.
Examine work to ensure the joint is strong before moving on to the next component in the plan (30%) Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers (30%) Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions (30%) Examine work pieces for defects and measures work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications (5%) Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed (5%) Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems - Supplements all processes Other duties as assigned Basic Requirements:
Welding Certification from an accredited institution.

years of relevant experience in welding and fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret Blueprints for weld fabrication.
Ability to successfully complete pre-hire weld tests.
