Dir, Vendor Management

The Director of Vendor Management will be responsible to deliver success across Procurement, Operations, Legal, Safety, and Finance teams at SBM, as well as across our strong vendor base.
You will establish the processes and procedures to ensure our vendors meet critical safety requirements, and communicate necessary Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance requirement across the vendor base.
You will own policy for the Procurement organization regarding Vendor Management (Terms and Conditions, Spending and Transactions Policy, PO-only guidance), and track vendors for alignment with Category Management criteria for spend and negotiated terms.
The role will ensure contracts are fully developed in a timely manner to support Operations, and ultimately ensure vendor success.
This leader will be measured for vendor compliance, spend under management, cost controls, improved green spend, vendor diversity targets, and vendor rationalization.
The Director will lead a small team in the performance of these responsibilities, and act as a 'hands-on' leader throughout the company
Responsibilities:
Develops Indirect Procurement sourcing policy for Vendor Management; Guides the vendor selection and onboarding process, RFx event expectations, QBR structure, and vendor development activities to ensure strong vendor partnerships; Supports strategic vendor relationships, and processes for transactional activities to support site operations; Build Standard Operating Procedures to ensure SBM's ability to scale and provide Operational solutions through Category Management teams; Guide, lead, develop, and retain high talent on the Category Management team (2 teammates); Utilize data to improve KPIs and overall organizational capability; Operate with high autonomy across business pace and deliver quickly on business needs; Demonstrate ownership across all team functions.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience Typically 8
years of progressive experience in procurement or related supply chain roles with increasing levels of responsibility 5
years of team leadership, and strong leadership presence with an ability to support senior leaders across business functions Experience making senior-level decisions, and working across a wide organizational environment in a large company May required to have a valid driver's license Strong working knowledge of contracts, contractual processes to support and onboard Indirect Vendors, and negotiating with vendors In-depth working knowledge of Indirect Category and Vendor Management Ability to interpret and assess impact of procedures and laws related to indirect procurement agreements Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking and thought leadership skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation:
$120,000 - $140,000 per year Recommended Skills Analytical Business Relationship Management Business Requirements Communication Contract Management Critical Thinking Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
