If you are a Lab Quality Technician looking for a new opportunity with a leading packaging company, ProAmpac is looking for you to join our team!n n n Successful candidates will bring with them the following requirements and skills:nnPrevious QA experience in comparable industry and field is preferrednStrong communication skills (both written and verbal)nAbility to make independent decisions regarding quality, customer complaints, etc.nAbility to clearly set priorities on tasks and complete in a timely manner.nStrong mathematical and attention to detail skills are a plus.nHighschool Diploma or equivalent nGood computer skills, including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, etcnTechnical report writingnn General Purposen Responsible to perform daily product inspection for all consumer packaging film. Perform periodical audit of Extrusion, Printing, and Converting processes. Maintain good control of lab devices and tools. Keep lab organized and clean. n Ensure departmental compliance with all certification requirements (AIB, ISO)n n Essential TasksnnFollow all safety rules and regulations; wear PPE.nPerform film inspection for all consumer packaging products and prepare COA data sheet for QA manager to review.nPerform film inspection for retain and security products. nNotify any problem regarding extrusion process to QA manager. nPerform incoming material inspection for railcar and truckload resins.nPerform daily cleaning and weekly deep clean for lab area according to AIB standard.nKeep lab equipment and instrument in good operational status; perform calibration and verification to these devices in accordance with ISO requirement. nPerform lab inspection and test for film brought in by QA manager and/ or Technical Manager. Prepare summary report for lab results.nAssistant to QA manager in generating work instruction and lab test method.nOrganize and maintain extrusion process checklist and work order sheet.
