Focus on scheduling identifying and resolving issues which impeded production, staffing and manpower allocation, training, and assuring that established manufacturing processes and quality checks are routinely followed.
As a working management role, spend significant time on the floor supervising work to be done and as required, doing production work.
Able to wear multiple hats to contribute in whatever way meets the organizational needs at a given time.
Leadership Employ a hands-on style that provides first-hand knowledge of issues that might impede Metalphoto of Cincinnatis ability to satisfy its commitments to customers or be profitable on each job.

Empower team leads and production associates to own their process and areas of responsibility.
Evaluates performance and provides constructive feedback to team leads and production associates thru the annual review process.
Able to navigate challenges with a positive demeanor that builds trust and establishes a safe place for escalation of issues from production staff.
Promote teamwork and a positive work environment.
Production Management Using existing production target and strategy tools, manage and communicate the production schedule, ensuring that customer commitments are routinely met.
Manage expedite requests as required to meet customer needs and established commitments.
Communicate deviations to customer commitments or quality issues with operations manager and customer service.
Use an effective training process and regular reinforcement to make sure good practices are memorialized and to help Team Leaders be as effective as possible in running their parts of the production process with as little overview as possible.
Manage staffing needs to optimize total efficiency through training key people to float from one area to another as work demand changes.
Continuously reinforce a culture of flexibility and bottleneck smashing.
In conjunction with the operations manager, develop and maintain appropriate staffing levels, ensure proper coverage including OT, weekends, holidays.
Production Is an active and proven problem solver.
Identifies, investigates, and resolves production problems or issues which are impacting quality or delivery of orders.
Engages others within the organization as necessary to reach successful resolutions.
Mentor production associates in problem solving.
When necessary, performs direct production activities to support production the team in meeting customer needs and commitments.
Address equipment issues promptly by either calling in contractors for repairs or doing the work ourselves.
Quality Systems Understand quality requirements, always focusing on meeting or exceeding internal and external customer quality expectations for part quality and delivery performance.
Participate as required in quality meetings, actively participating in understanding and presenting root causes of poor quality and help develop systems for corrective action.
Be an active participant in building an ever-improving quality culture (inspection, system, root cause analysis, etc.
) Safety & Right To Know Champions safety throughout the production operations.
Understands, communicates, and ensures compliance with all safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements for all assigned work areas.
Understand the hazardous nature of all materials/chemicals that might be handled by reviewing as necessary appropriate MSDS.
Observe others in the area for possible safety issues immediately correcting behavior that might be considered dangerous to oneself or others.
Act at all times in a manner that is safe to those in or nearby his/her work area.
Qualifications At least 3 - 5 years of significant experience in a manufacturing management production supervision role preferably in a job-shop.
Must be capable of working in a team environment or single person process, and be able to maintain exceptional safety, quality, and route adherence measurements.
Interpret blueprints, job orders and company policies and procedures for employees.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
A strong awareness and commitment to safety and quality Experience and familiarity with a variety of metal fabrication equipment.
Previous experience with equipment maintenance a plus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
