THE OPPORTUNITY Old Spice is looking for a digitally savvy, highly motivated, and very disciplined Performance Marketing & Media Brand Senior Brand Manager to help lead the brand's charge within the groundbreaking spaces of Influencer Marketing and Brand Partnerships. The ideal candidate should have experience in leading digital marketing campaigns from literal start to finish as they will be responsible for leading the Old Spice KOL-Influencer program end-to-end, managing strategy and execution of digital media campaigns, and partnering with our agencies to drive holistic execution. JOB DESCRIPTION KOL Program Strategy & Execution - This individual will own the strategy and manage the execution of Old Spice's KOL program including:
understanding the Old Spice brand strategy, working with agencies and P&G Purchasing to prospect and contract KOL talent, co-developing with KOLs amazing content that entertains consumers and sells Old Spice, working with the Brand & Communications in approving KOLs and their content, partnering with an agency to pay KOL talent, working with Analytics & Insights to track & optimizing media campaigns and ensuring financial controls/proof of performance Brand Partnerships Execution - This individual will manage the execution of Old Spice's groundbreaking content and media partnerships. They will directly support the Brand Media Director in ensuring programs are on-track including securing the appropriate P&G approvals, ensuring partners receive the right Old Spice information needed for executions, and working with Analytics & Insights to ensure program tracking is in place. Development of content (words, visuals, stories & experiences) that is on equity, well crafted, creative, inspirational and sharable. Content that creates consumer pull & allows her/him to create her/his own story. Consumer Understanding & Insights:
Candidate will need to deeply understand consumer behaviors on social platforms and current events/what's hot in order to generate most impactful KOL work. Integrative Thinking:
Ability to integrate deep understanding of data/insights from various sources (i.e. trends, internal/external stakeholders etc.) to uncover synergies, linkages while applying experienced judgment to guide strategy, inspire ideas and strengthen innovation to deliver superior results. May be done through various approaches including Design Thinking, Lean Innovation Principles, etc. Candidate will need to have a detailed understanding of the Brand Plans and translate the plan into a KOL plan. Integrative Communications (Written & Oral):
Creates clear, concise and well-organized communications (written, oral, visual) across a variety of platforms and channels with superior executional delivery. Candidate will need to communicate with the Brand, agencies, KOLs and their agents with a clear plan and directives. Developing External Partnerships & Relations:
Effective partnering with various external entities such as agencies, suppliers, creatives, and talent agents. Candidate will get extensive experience in working with external parties, as they will need to develop and maintain relationships with KOLs and their agents, as well as comms and creative agencies. Multifunctional Team leadership Demonstrated ability to lead multifunctional teams via identifying, engaging and leveraging the right resources to deliver desired outcomes. Candidate will have to partner with multiple stakeholders and work with agencies and customer teams to make KOL programs as big as possible. Crisis & Issue Management:
Crisis & Issues Management/Prevention. Candidate will work closely with Communications function to mitigate risks associated with KOL partnerships; and work with Comms in the event that issues do arise. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, PR, or a related field 5 year of work experience in digital communications and social media or related fields Experience with posting, scheduling and analyzing social media posts Experience with planning and executing digital media campaigns end-to-end Experience negotiating with agents and working with KOL/Celebrity talent Experience with budget planning and management PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in media planning/buying and/or experience working at a start-up company Master's degree preferred A love of pop culture, current events, and social media
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Brand Marketing & Management, Digital Marketing & Social MediaEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
