POSITION SUMMARY The Graphics Engineer is responsible for the design and development of the Graphical User Interface (GUI) screens to represent the customers conveyor system. This role requires knowledge of visual studio and VPN clients. This position participates in the production of the GUI screens, status and alarms including supporting and testing of the graphics with the PLC and PC engineering teams in house and during site startup. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate job responsibilities with PLC and PC engineers. Create Graphical User Interface (GUI) screens. Coordinate with PLC engineers to get the list of alarms required. Configure various tables in the database for compiling alarms and set up PLC communication. Configure alarms to match GUI screens. (Compile Alarms) Create various files (excel and text based). Test screens, status, faults and alarms. Deploy files on customer servers. Travel to job sites to support PLC engineers as required. Additional duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in Computer Science, Web Development, Graphic Design, Software Engineering or related field preferred. Training related to job will be provided. Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required. High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications. Knowledge of Visual Studio. Knowledge of VPN Clients. Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal and presentation skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning). Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients. Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. Ability to work with and influence peers and management. Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
