Manually payment posting within the pharmacy system. Sort through reimbursement discrepancies to match/link the prescription with the correct prescription number for insurance billing. Balance what is keyed with what is on the remit. What you will need as the Patient Accounting Representative:
High School Diploma 1 year of accounting and/or healthcare experience. 1 year of data entry experience. Attention to detail. Accuracy is a must. Ability to work independently. Ability to think critically- must be able to get ahead of the problem and problem solve.
