Work with internal and external customers and members of the Alloy team to help facilitate flow of material through the supply chain Maintain vendor relationships with carriers and warehouses in order to ensure correct delivery of material Management of cargo system entries through multiples stages of import process Payment of invoices to suppliers and vendors through various stages of the supply chain Maintenance of Excel spreadsheets that organize costing related to the movement of material through the supply chain Purchase order and sales order entry Manage, learn, and use multiple software systems Any additional tasks or projects as requested by management Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum
Qualifications:
2-years of logistics or customer service or related experience; or an Associates degree in Business or related field Proficiency in utilizing computer resources to maximize effectiveness and efficiency including MS Office Suite Demonstrate understanding and commitment to DJJ and Nucor's goals Strong commitment to Safety in all job aspects Preferred
