And so much more! Position Summary The Senior Information Security Analyst is responsible to meet the goals and objectives of the organization by engineering and administering information security solutions across all locations.
Safeguarding and protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information using technical, administrative, and physical controls.
Essential Duties and Tasks
Identify vulnerabilities and protect company assets from unauthorized access, modification, or destruction.
Assist in or lead security awareness training exercises.
Assist in the implementation and design of comprehensive information security architecture to protect the organization.
Monitor the internal and external environment for emerging threats, and advise relevant stakeholders on the appropriate course of action.
Assist in or lead the coordination and execution of remediation efforts.
Assists in the preparation, implementation and support of information security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
Assist in data collection efforts in support of annual risk assessments, customer, or 3rd party audits.
Assist in the evaluation and security management of cloud services.
Partake in incident response planning and execution.
Triage with external/internal stakeholders when applicable.
Provide and assist in the development of requested information security reporting and updates to enterprise security metrics.
Continually stay abreast of security trends, threats, and prevention technologies and practices.
Assist in or lead projects and initiatives that support information security practices and policies.
Work with 3 rd party contracted service providers in creating robust security solutions.
Mentor and coach others in sound security practices when the opportunity arises.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements Qualifications, Education and Experience
Professional security management certification is desirable, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Comp TIA Security+, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), or other similar certification
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a combination of information security, risk management, security review, incident response, and infrastructure.
Understanding of social engineering and its impact on supporting an Information Security practice.
Ability to assess, validate and incorporate new tools, practices, strategies and process to gain efficiencies in the areas of cyber security & intellectual property protection.
Hands on enterprise experience with Windows Server, cloud, network switching, virtualization, DLP, IDP/IPS, AV, TCP/IP, client technologies, programming, and other relevant infrastructure is required.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and cross culturally.
High degree of initiative and curiosity is needed to uncover and remediate information security challenges.
Extensive experience with the concepts and principles of one or more related fields or departments.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Outlook email and calendar.
PeopleSoft a plus
Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
Exceptional time management and organization skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
