Marketing Coordinator

Our Marketing and Business Development department has an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator in the Cincinnati office.
The Marketing Coordinator is a nonexempt position that reports to the Senior Manager of Client Development and Alumni Relations and is responsible for supporting the firm alumni program and marketing activities in the Cincinnati office.
This position works closely with the Firmwide BD & Marketing team to initiate, coordinate, and/or implement marketing and business development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Maintain an alumni database of over 2,700 alumni, updating attorney departures and monitoring alumni career moves through social media and marketing reports.
Assist Senior Manager of Client Development and Alumni Relations to plan alumni events nationwide and communications including newsletters and alumni spotlight stories.
Assist Firmwide BD & Marketing to manage the firm's alumni website and LinkedIn alumni account.
In collaboration with the Senior Manager of Client Development and Alumni Relations, the Marketing Coordinator will assist in planning events/conferences, including establishing budget, site selection, development of invite list, invitation process, promotion on social media and Firm website, event logistics, site set-up, CLE planning and post event follow-up and monitor required technology for virtual events and webinars.
Events and other job responsibilities below may require working outside traditional business hours.
Work closely with Firm lawyers and BD & Marketing department personnel to create client-focused brochures, thought leadership pieces, collateral and pitch materials that meet attorney specifications.
Assist with the preparation of submissions for rankings and directories.
In coordination with the Senior Manager of Client Development and Alumni Relations, the Marketing Coordinator will orchestrate sponsorship/membership opportunities, including vetting opportunities, arranging for payment, managing ad production, and arranging events, conferences, speaking opportunities, distribution of event tickets including sporting venues, marketing materials, etc.

Support the integration of lateral attorneys, including bio posting, Firm photo, press release and intranet story, announcements, community involvement database, business development planning, and contacts integration.
Assist the BD & Marketing Managers in staying abreast of news about client development targets in order to suggest opportunities and approaches for client expansion or market penetration.
In tandem with the Competitive Intelligence team, conduct research on such targets as needed.
Create development activity reports.
Respond to requests and questions from lawyers, alumni, administrative staff, and vendors; provide excellent customer service; and follow-through on requests to ensure needs are met.
Other duties as requested and assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
Internship experience highly desirable.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, Excel, Smartsheets and PowerPoint.
Proven aptitude to learn new software applications.

Demonstrate good judgment, tact, and flexibility under pressure in a mixed-matrix environment with many stakeholders and potentially competing priorities.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
