Assistant Production Supervisor- Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish)

We are looking for a bilingual Assistant Production Supervisor to oversee and manage the shift production while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and quantity standards- while also meeting our client demands.
Responsibilities:
Assist in managing production employees Partner with General Manager to facilitate daily workflow and general operations of the production shift Receive product and ensure that it is identified, weighed, and warehoused correctly.
Maintain knowledge of processes and equipment usage.
Troubleshoot product, machine, process, and employee issues that arise.
Ensure that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
Manage completion of production documentation and submissions from team, follow up with line leads and operators on errors, issues, and compliance.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Work overtime as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
English/Spanish conversational ability required.
Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and equipment usage.
General computer skills and familiarity of MS office & Adobe Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good math skills.
Knowledge of the use of the English and metric measuring system and measuring tools.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to perform minor mechanical work and machine maintenance.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking on concrete.
Ability to climb stairs.
Pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and frequent lifting of heavy objects.
Must be able to move and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Must be able to lift up to 150 pounds with assistance.
Must be able to push weights up to 500 pounds with a team.
Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment.
Visual acuity to inspect products and machinery.
Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant.
