Summary:
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing the interior and exterior physical structures of buildings and grounds.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Must have current 608 EPA Certification.
Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Completes work orders for occupied apartments within a 24-hour period.
Directs workers and/or assist in painting and performing structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, furnishings of the interior and exterior of buildings, ground maintenance activities, and general cleaning and upkeep of buildings.
Directs and assists employees/subcontractors in snow removal of roadways, parking stalls and walking surfaces.
Maintains a clean and organized shop.
Maintain needed inventory levels bought by competitive pricing.
Inspects completed work for conformance to our standards.
This includes work performed by external contractors and by other Nexus employees.
Maintains time, production, pool, and preventative maintenance records.
