Corporate Communications Specialist

Responsibilities:
Write and edit content for Intranet, e-mail and print for an internal audience of 500 employees in multiple locations.
Write and manage content for knowledge management system leveraged by employees and external customers.
Utilize Adobe PhotoShop to create and edit graphics that enhance messaging and engage audiences.
Partner with other areas of the business to design and manage reward and recognition initiatives/contests to help drive continued improvement and engagement.
Create product education materials (primarily Intranet webpages) for general categories as well as CBI Brand products.
Manage, organize and execute meetings, special events and communications projects as assigned.
Partner with appropriate company groups including CBI Brand Partners, Marketing, VOC, Merchandising, HR, IT, and others to develop strategies supporting business initiatives.
Create webpages for Intranet site leveraging Microsoft Expressions, html, CSS and limited javascript, as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Skills:
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Experience managing an Internet/Intranet site
Expert skills with Microsoft Office package
Intermediate skills with Adobe PhotoShop
Intermediate knowledge of html, CSS and JavaScript
Proficiency with web-design software (i.e. Microsoft FrontPage, DreamWeaver, Microsoft Expression Web)
Strong project management skills
Ability to think analytically and creatively
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management and team members
Strong ability to self-manage and handle multiple tasks
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or 2 years experience with professional communications and/or website design
Preferred Requirements:
Advanced skills with Adobe PhotoShop
Advanced knowledge of web design/development including HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
